Engage with the public, especially youth, in the DIY-bio movement, where the maker and scientific communities will collaborate synergistically.
The project aims to make knowledge about the opportunities and effectiveness of using biotechnology accessible to society, regardless of social status, age, gender, etc. There are many urgent and unresolved challenges in the world, and particularly in Ukraine. We intend to popularize innovative solutions for treating burn injuries through the promotion of DIY biotech education and citizen science, building a community.

Our project has received the MIA Award! The Makers Innovation Award is an initiative aimed at improving the social and economic aspects of life for Ukrainians during the war through innovative ideas from Ukrainian inventors.

Anastasiia Torianik organized Days of Science with the support of the University of Fukui (Japan) and the «Завтра.UA» scholarship program.
2022
Development start by Daria Dantseva and the CDC team on an open protocol for the isolation and cultivation of Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs). The development aims to reduce the cost of cell engineering.
2020
Daria Dantseva (project leader) and her colleagues from Central Dogma Collective successfully completed a project aimed at developing an affordable human coronavirus vaccine that can be reproduced under a limited budget.
2018
Launch of the first DIY bio laboratory in Ukraine, Yanelab, which has helped hundreds of Ukrainians start their journey in the field of biotechnology. The formation of a community and the organization of over 30 biotech events (2018-2024) in Amsterdam, Kyiv, Nicosia, Dnipro, Lviv, and Zaporizhzhia for people with varying levels of knowledge and from different age groups.
